The online world is ever changing and so navigating how to keep our children and young people safe online as a parent or carer can feel challenging. For families where there may have additional challenges this can seem even more scary. In this session we aim to discuss the risks that our young people are faced with in the online world, and how as parents we can help to reduce and manage those risks. We’ll be discussing the main areas of online safety for our young people including social media, fake news, radicalisation, pornography, and exploitation and the pressures that they face from people who may take advantage of them. We’ll look at how to try and make online safety more engaging, easier to understand and how we can have open safe family conversations about online safety.
Your feedback is really important to us as we want to continue to develop our resources to ensure they are the best they can possibly be so we would be grateful if you would please complete the form below.
