Building Strong Foundations, creating strong family connections from the start

This session focuses on the simple everyday things that help children stay safe, happy and connected. It explores how strong family relationships, positive communication and trusted adults can act as protective factors as children grow.

We’ll discuss what life is like for children growing up in a digital world. Parents and carers will gain awareness of online risks and learn how to encourage curiosity, critical thinking and safe online habits without creating fear.

The session also explores the building blocks of healthy relationships, including kindness, respect, and recognising uncomfortable feelings.
