Let’s Talk Teenagers

16th September 2026 7.30-8.30pm

Teenagers: Keeping Connection When It Matters Most

We’ll explore teenage brain development, identity, friendships, peer pressure and the importance of belonging. We’ll discuss why teenagers can be influenced by others and how strong relationships at home can help keep them safe.

The session also covers healthy relationships, including respect, boundaries, consent and online relationships. Parents and carers will learn about the signs of controlling behaviour, exploitation and manipulation.

We’ll raise awareness of emerging online risks, including harmful online content, AI and deepfake abuse, influencer culture, misogyny and radicalisation. The focus is on helping parents and carers have open, supportive conversations and build their teenager’s confidence, resilience and critical thinking skills.
